By accessing and using the K12 Safety application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use the Service.
The Service provides an ecosystem for schools to enhance student safety, including Emergency Operation Plans, Emergency Safety Plans, Emergency Health Plans, Behavioral Risk Assessments and other related services.
You agree to use the Service for lawful purposes only and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service. FERPA.
Users are required to register and maintain the confidentiality of their account information. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.
You are responsible for the content you upload or enter into the Service. You warrant that you own or have the necessary permissions to use and authorize the use of your content as described herein.
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Trisk). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality and all related intellectual property rights are and will remain the exclusive property of K12 Safety and its licensors. Unless otherwise stated, nothing in these Terms will create a license to these intellectual property rights and you agree not to copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, or publicly display materials available on the platform.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
In no event shall K12 Safety, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes as required by law.
